motherboard-monitor

Motherboard Monitor is a tool that will display information from the sensor chip on your motherboard in your Windows system tray. MBM supports a wide range of Chipsets & Sensor Chip combinations. MBM is compatible with Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP. It can sense temps from Cpu, HDD, GFx and Mobo. It does also sense Fan speeds. If it senses that your hardware is overheated it can protect it by Shutting it down (user configured). The development of MBM halted somewhere along its way, but the program is still pretty useful, especially if your PC is not with all the latest hardware, but is somewhat older…

occt-tool

OCCT (stands for “OverClock Checking Tool) is a CPU stability testing program. OCCT can test the cpu, ram, graphics and power supply. It is a great tool for testing your PC when you are overclocking it or testing a computer having stability issues even without overclocking. The test procedures support 32 and 64 bit and multicore and multiprocessor systems giving them maximum load not only for the CPU, but also on other key hardware subsystems. In this way if your PSU cannot supply enough power or the voltages become too unstable, your processor overheats or your video card starts acting up you’ll know that there is something wrong with your PC.
