Dolphin Gamecube and Wii Emulator SVN revision 3155
Dolphin started as a Nintendo Gamecube emulator, but now it also has support for Nintendo Wii and basic Triforce emulation (this is pending a commit, and does not run games yet). Gamecube compatibility is quite good – many games work, but games still don’t work. The main Nintendo games like Zelda, Mario Sunshine and Pikmin and some others might have problems without sound. Nintendo Wii compatibility is not as good as the Gamecube compatibility, but several games are fully playable, and lots of games are showing intros and running almost ok. Dolphin can currently only run “images”, also known as ISO or GCM files, of Gamecube and Wii games, since a PC DVD drive cannot read the discs directly.

When this emulator first was announced as supporting the wii I thought it was total b.s. They have come along way, this emulator is amazing and does a very nice job with a lot of gc games. Nice work.
